Best mobile phone for photos?

I'm a keen photographer but never seem to have a camera with me at the right time. I've tried going down the route of carrying a mini digital slr with me for everyday use (currently a Pentax Q) but still 90% of my photos are snapped on my mobile as I've forgotten or it wasn't practical to carry the camera. I'm thinking it might be better to upgrade my phone to something with the best camera facilities possible.
Any suggestions for the best phone choices?
I'd prefer something tough and waterproof too if that's not too much to ask.

I'm hoping to get one, if reviews are positive once it's out in the wild. In a sea of candy bar phones that all seem to be the same, I like the idea of a phone with a bit of a a focus towards photography. *forgive the terrible pun...*

The iPhone 7+ would be my suggestion. It has the second lens, and portrait mode, over the regular iPhone 7.

I think most of the current crop of phones have pretty decent quality cameras considering their size.

These are straight off my Samsung Galaxy edge 7.
