Hi guys,

Here are my photos from rockingham. Was pretty limited by where I could shoot from. I also tried to get one of most of the cars, which is why some are a bit repetitive. This was my first doing photos at a track day, so Im quite happy. The 100-400 was really nice to use.

Phew!!!

And to think all along I thought you were a God.

No no don't get me wrong, the pictures are great, but they're the sort of photos I could imagine myself taking, whereas most of your stuff is just beyond the realms of my perceivable skill.

Thanks for sharing!

Hmm.

I guess no one would countenance hanging out of the back of a fast hatch in the middle of a track session.

Probably just as well.

New technique required. Remote view and control of camera on a special mount and pointing out of the back via a rear light aperture perhaps.

Or maybe on of those new Citroen C4 jobs with the odd vertical glass in the tailgate. (The Toyota Prius is similar I think but perhaps has the wrong image).

Track shots are a bit limited unless you get something flying through the air. Trouble is that is hardly acceptable at a race meeting so totally wrong on a track day.
