I've always had a decent camera but never seem to have it with me at the right time so a few years ago I bought myself a little Pentax Q pocket sized camera. I use it a lot, more than I use my big Canon nowadays, but I'm starting to feel a little limited by the standard prime lens so have decided to buy a small zoom lens to expand it's range a bit.

I don't want anything too big as that would defeat the object of having something I could have in my pocket at all times so I'm looking at the Pentax 02 Standard Zoom 5-15mm f/2.8-4.5 or the Pentax 06 Telephoto f/2.8 15-45mm Zoom. Not sure which is the better all rounder.

Any advice on these or any alternative lenses?

I have no experience of the Pentax system but based on the focal length of the lenses (crop factor is around 5 I think) the 5-15 would seem to be a more general purpose lens and it reviews ok smile
