Trip to North Wales

At the weekend I visited the ancestral homestead. I took the wife over to a RSPB Nature Reserve and took the opportunity of trying out my Nikon 70-300 G.



This was with the 18-70 that came with the camera.



Quite a nice one of the car, I thought. Evocative of a journey...

I like the bird picture, the car one perhaps would have been better (to the impartial observer) without the person on the wall though. Is that Ford imperial blue? It looks great in that colour!

Nope. Not one!

Thanks for the comments, PhilS. I was pleased with the bird shot - although the focus isn't quite perfect. I rather liked the "story" of having someone on the wall - who must have arrived in the car...but each to their own.
