Dear Photographers,

Please excuse this slightly unconventional approach via PH and I hope I'm not contravening any forum rules.

We are looking for a talented photographer to fulfil a requirement for a prestigious Bar & Restaurant chain in the UK. This position is currently been undertaken by my Wife, Vicki however it is our intention to move the Family to Italy on a permanent basis as of the end of March 2017.

The work entails photographing refurbished pubs and restaurants throughout most of the UK.

Vicki has been mentored by a very good Photographer based near Stansted and this same person will continue to cover any requirement from Birmingham and below. This therefore means there is a requirement for someone to cover further North.

Knowledge of Lightroom is a requirement as post-production adjustments will be required before presentation to the Client. As an average, there will be 3-4 shoots per Month.

Remuneration -

£500 per shoot (typically this takes 4-6 hours each time with invariably an early start).
Mileage allowance as per National average.
Accommodation allowance up to £90 for the night preceding the shoot as/when required.

Obviously, this is a very good opportunity for an enthusiastic and talented individual (ideally based North of Birmingham) to make a career out of Photography. Not an easy thing to do as many of you will know!

If anyone would like to discuss this further we can be contacted in the 1st instance via my email -

ajgeddes@gmail.com

Thank-you very much for your consideration.

Kind Regards,

Ali & Vicki Geddes

Sounds like a nice job with a decent budget for once! I'd be tempted to pick some up but am in Essex.

Don't be too prescriptive on software - I use Capture One Pro and Photoshop and nobody's complained smile

Maybe the employer requires a copy of a Lightroom catalogue and associated RAW files sent after each job.

No idea. Does the OP require a copy of a Lightroom catalogue and associated RAW files sent after each job?

The Client requires a 20-40 shot 'before & after' powerpoint presentation. Then a 40-60 shot PDF presentation of what the Photographer views as the best available from the shoot. The Client has very specific needs and each shot must reflect their brand and be consistent to all their refurbished venues (colouring etc.)

Lightroom and Photoshop are what Vicki's mentor and colleague (and Boss!) uses and the requirement is to stick with those in the interests of continuity.

Pretty amazing response so far!

Cheers.
