Quick video to youtube, what camera is best?
Discussion
I run a business timing running races. I use a GoPro for backup purposes but it would be nice to put the videos up on youtube for runners.
I have to crop the first video, then join the rest to it. It takes time and effort due to the GoPro splitting the files. Is there a better camera to do this with?
I have bought a second GoPro rip off camera, but it does a similar thing just with MOV files which have proved difficult to join together.

They're splitting the files when the reach 4GB?
This is due to file size limitations of the FAT32 file system used to format SD cards.
FAT32 file system only supports files up 4GB, so all cameras will split the files.
Download a video editor like GoPro Studio or iMovie etc.
Then import the footage, drag it to the timeline and edit. When you're happy, render the video and upload to YouTube.

If you have pretty much any Apple product it will be supplied with iMovie which is very easy to use straight out of the box. For more info visit http://www.apple.com/uk/imovie/
