popped into Jessops this morning, and what did they have from a cancelled order?

Here's a sample image, but be warned, I will take it down if our bandwidth gets trashed too badly, so don't link it anywhere else please!

Nice one dcw. Nice to see that for £3.5K you do at least get decent mounting points for the strap!

Nice one. Me jealous, no way.

What do these buttons do?

the one on the left is the DOF preview, the one below that is the "FUNC" button - I don't know yet what it does. top right is flash sync, bottom right is remote cable connection.

Standby for the first results of my tests...

Lucky swine

Downloaded your test pic - pretty amazing resolving power - a real leap forward for Nikon digital methinks.

Is the FUNC button customiseable/programmeable? If so you could use this to select the high speed crop mode or something like that, maybe an autobracket if you wanted to do that. You'll have to RTFM I'm afraid.

This is ceratinly the most expensive forum on PH with you and Scooby Snax showing what the D2X is capable of and Ed and Matt showing what the EOS 1D MKII can do - you're a bad influence on us

Have a great time with the new beastie.

Chris

Don't want an MC-20 do you!?

Likelihood of me moving on from the "little" D70 for a while is still lottery funding dependent. But posting up news and pictures like this is not doing my NAS any good.

I'm off to lie down in an EV 0 room to try not to think about pixels........
