Any experiences/reccomendations?

It will be used when snorkling

Budget up to 200ish.

Not a great deal around.

The olympus toughs get mixed feedback as to tneir toughess.

I just want something better quality than a disposable 35mm, that stays waterproof.

Looked at a £90 praktica wp240, but no idea if any good as very little feedback.

Cheers.

I bough this specifically for using whilst sailing/swimming/snorkelling:

http://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/cameras-and-camcorder...

I'm very pleased with it - it seems to take very good photos both on land and in water - there is also a setting to help improve the colours in underwater photos. The menus aren't the easiest to navigate initially but once you get used to where the various settings are etc its fine.

I have read there can be problems with the screen fogging up due to the battery/memory card door not being properly sealed (due to sand/grit etc) but I have not had a problem - if you buy from Currys you can get the instant replacement warranty which I think is worthwhile for this sort of camera.

Any questions about this camera feel free to ask!

Don't know if this allowed but you can make me an offer for a Canon D20 that has been used 2/3 times if you like.

I have an XP90 too. Not a bad little camera and a bargain for £130 last year.

I looked into this years ago and came to the conclusion that the best solution was a pocketable camera like a ixus or such and a specialist case for it.
