We have a digital copy of our wedding photos, can anyone recommend a good place to get them printed? I asked our photographer who did say he could get them done, but recommended getting them done ourselves.

Looking to get something with good quality, as well as getting the photos printed would also like to get a few photo books made for parents/grandparents.

Loxley Colour are excellent!

(edit - sounds like your 'tog can't be "bothered" to do them for you ?)

Loxley Colour for sure. I think you can create an account as an individual, but if you have any trouble I'd be more than happy to order them for you on my business account at cost.

I use them for all my wedding prints, super quality, really quick and pretty reasonably priced.

I took exactly the same view - yes, I can arrange to get prints done for you if you want me to, but you will pay for my time as well. Ergo, it is cheaper if you do it yourself. Everybody knew they'd get digital images, that's what they got, and not one asked for prints.

I'll throw www.photobox.co.uk into the ring.

Thank you, I've registered and the wife has downloaded the software, it does seem we can order ourselves but I appreciate the offer.

Our venue was unusual and our photographer specialises in the sort of location we were in, which was very dark with unusual lighting. We are over the moon with his work, but he does few weddings and suggested that there may be better alternatives than he would normally offer for printing due to not being a regular thing for him.

Prints are uploaded via the website now (fairly recent change), should be no need to download the software unless you're ordering something out of the ordinary.
