Does anyone know of a system that allows me to view images from my camera on a PC/laptop without having to download them first?
Many (most?) cameras will mount as a USB drive if you connect them to a PC with a USB cable (often provided). You may need to tell the Camera how to behave when connected to a PC ... depends on your camera
Do you mean:
a) Tethered shooting: Camera connected to your computer via a USB cable, so you can view the images on the computer as soon as you take them
or
b) Wifi memory cards: The memory card in the camera creates a wifi hotspot and your computer can then access the images wirelessly?

My Canon 7D2 isn't wifi savvy. Basically I just want to view them prior to downloading so I can delete the rubbish. Mr Grimshaw has probably answered my question. a) Tethered shooting: Camera connected to your computer via a USB cable, so you can view the images on the computer as soon as you take them
