Can I ask what you mean by a DVD sound track... just the audio from a DVD or do you have a DVDA type thing.
If the latter - I cannae help ye.
The former... I think it is possible to rip a DVD, lift out the ac3 and convert it.
Disclaimer: I can't remember the file type for the DVD audio so it may not be ac3. Also, I can't remember the exact applications that will let you do it - but when I get home, I'll do some research and let you know if you like.
Cheers,
Phil.
