Hi Guys,

I have a trip to Florida coming up and although a lot will be theme park activities we have also got a trip down some natural springs inc water jumps etc.

I want to buy a good camera, GoPro type thing. Are the GoPro's the best or would you recommend anything else?

Cheers

My 13 year old has a hero 5 black and loves it. He's been scootering, bmxing, snorkelling, hurling himself off piers and is just come back from Switzerland last week - the footage is great, as in the inbuilt stabilisation. Accessories are cheap ( selfie stick thing, buoyancy thing, chest mount thing - don't bother with the official GP ones ) but make sure you have a spare battery or 2 as they eat them pretty quick

Thanks
Can you recommend which accessories and where from?

The selfie stick is a luxebell 40.5" extending pole from Amazon - I think it's under £10
The chest mount was £11.49 from Amazon via eco-fused. The floating handgrip was £7.49 from the same seller

No issues with any of them. Bought a second battery which was a genuine one for around £20 I think and then a couple of 20000mah Powerade pilot x7 power banks for £19 each

I sound like an ad for Amazon but it's just convenient when I'm at work for deliveries..

Worth checking out re-conditioned Go-Pro too through the official website. I picked up a heavily discounted Hero 4 Silver 18 months ago and when I got it out the box it was like new!
