now that I can't understand, don't hummingbirds flap their wings, very, very, very quickly - how on earth can he have got the wings completely still and so much colour and richness in the shot?

Looks a bit like TrackDemons in that they appear over saturated as well

edit:: even more impressive is that it was taken on a D70

I'm not an expert TD, just to me they look oversaturated.

Nothing wrong with them, they are distinctive and usually very good - they challenge what I understood to be the "way to do it" as it were which is never a bad thing.

Amazing pieces of Taxidermy there and they look so realistic

Very nice photos they are, some top work.
