Hi there, just need some reassurance really. About to depart into Ipswich to pick up a Nikon D70 kit with the 18-70 lens.

Am I doing the right thing?

Jessops are price matching to £694.99 (then I get £100 Nikon cashback) - is this a good deal??

Err... it's about half what I paid a few months ago ... if that helps!!

the D70 was still "new" then and there wasn't a cashback option etc. etc. and I didn't really get ripped off!

Also, as GetCarter said - you won't regret it... I had "an interest" in photography before I got it but since, it has become somewhat of an obsession!
