while i do use them a lot, for some reason i have twice had memory cards "not arrive". they have claimed the last one was due to some bags of mail going missing and it should arrive soon, first never arrived at all.
apart from that i have bought loads of other stuff and its always been right gear, good price and on time

Spill the beans...which lenses???? I'm just about to get a 10-22 and a 24-70 unless a test with a 17-40L suits me in Jessops. Great hobby but it does cost

Ross,
Is that a typo? Should it be www.ebuyer.com?

Martin.

I've used them numerous times for films, batteries etc and it takes a little time to get them through (they are coming from a channel island, Jersey I think) but it's perfectly acceptable time.

Jessops won't price match for two reasons - one they don't have a physical shop & two they aren't in the UK (they are cheap because they can avoid some of the taxes and buy cheap from Asia - same as play.com & cd-wow.com)

The most amusing thing about them is that they send almost one item in one jiffy bag.

It means it's all a bit of a lottery what turns up when and in which order, but it does mean that if you order once a quarter from them 10-20 things you never, ever, have to buy a jiffy bag every again

Try getting the pricematch first.

At least if there are any problems Jessops is local.

They pricematched my 350D

Then for memory cards use ebuyer or ebay

They have slow delivery on the small items but very fast on cameras. A very respected chap in our camera club decided to take the plunge and order a D20 from them. It turned up at his door the next day. No problems whatsoever.

I use the INternet for most things BUT if Jessops can even get close I thik I will use them. Just no beating that comfort feeling of knowing the place you purchased from. Unless you can save over £100 of course!!! Jessops 20D £999.99, 7day £886.00 - no brainer!!!!!!!
