Remember this image ? Well I just won a trophy last night for best print of the year at our camera club with it !
For those of you wanting to improve your photography I can really recommend joining a local camera club as you'll meet other people with the same questions and have an opportunity to learn directly from those who've been around a bit.

Thanks guys !
The print is 15"x10". Scanned into Photoshop 7 from an original 35mm transparency. The output resolution is about 380 ppi and printed myself on Epson premium semi-glossy paper.
Oh yes, don't leave this club (clud ?) because there's plenty of good advice to be had here !

You could save a generation of quality and get a Cibachrome print made directly from the tranny.

Unfortunately I did have to add a little colour to the scene in Photoshop, and I'm not set up to do Cibachrome in my bathroom.

And my sis teaches in Basingstoke... come to think of it, I think it's her in the pic!
Picture was taken just round the corner from Harriet Costello school so you never know...
