Can I join the Clud?
Discussion
It would be so tempting to.....
But. (serious point for a millisecond...)
I still maintain that there's not a lot of substitute for handling some kit. What it "feels" like in use is more importnat than the spec.
Having owned an F90X for a few years, I bought an F100. This is a few years back now. Even though the 100 is technically superior it was still in the same state when I parted with it about four years after I bought it. The 90, however, was pretty worn.
Now the D70 I just don't want to put down!!!

What about 'Social Membershits' for users of other brands? Or do you want to avoid the possibility of attracting a loose Canon? ![]()
Martin.
Depending on the thoughts of other Clud members, we could allow "Socialist Membershit" We Nikon owners can handle "Loose Canons"

yes and no
I would probably prefer to be holding a D2X, but the 1DsII kicks it SO far in to touch on image quality that I would never go back

BTW... I just saw on 'Click Online' some yanks have created a 144 megapixal camera
They use it for architectural pics - can blow images up to bill board size at decent res. ...only problem I saw was the 3 suitcases it took to transport it, and the fact that pics can take up to 18 mins per frame to expose needing a tripod the size of Dover. This does probably mean however that in a few years time a 144 mp camera will fit into a wrist watch and be given away free with Shredies.
On that note...I'm off to Cumbria.

I know there have been some reported probelms with the '2x. But is it really that bad???
