which A3 printer
Discussion
It seems that the choices are Canon (same as Martin's) vs Epson R1800 for the ultimate A3 photo printer. Assuming they both give fantastic results I suppose the selection criteria are printing speed and ink costs.
I know its been done before but is there any chance we could do simple survey to see which gets the most votes?
TIA

I personally, after having seen and tried both have chosen the R1800, Will get one after my next pay cheque.
As printing is a MAJOR focus for Epson they seem to put a lot more effort into the market (ICC profiles etc.)
Also, they do a whole load of pro printers, and that technology filters down to us little guys very quickly.
Amazon have it for £349.99.

Epson also seem to win all the awards for how long the photos will last on paper before they fade... and as you'll be using Epson paper with your Epson printer - that's got to be a big plus.
The latest paper is supposed to last until pigs fly. They were obviously watching the footie last night.
