Never bought a camera from them, but i've used them for other purchases on a great many occaisions, delivery has always been inside a week and on the one order I did need to query they dealt with it very quickly.

I think they get their cameras from france, so warranty might be an issue.

This subject came up a week or two ago. I've used them for bits and pieces for 5 years or more with no real problems (they did send me an extra film and batteries for free once or twice ). Their service for small items is slow - 7 day shop doesn't so much represent their opening hours but more like their delivery time. However on the big ticket items they're much faster, I had a friend order a D20 from them one morning and it arrived at his door the very next morning.

My brother bought a compact digi camera from them about a year ago and got stung for vat through customs. I am sure if you search the small print on the site it mentions that you may get caught out.
Have a look at www.cameras2u.com or www.ebuyer.co.uk or www.dabs.com

Konw several people that have bought Canon IXUSs (is the plural IXI?) from them, no problems.

I buy Ilford Smooth Pearl Pro paper from them, amongst other bits and pieces now and again...

I had problems with a dodgy lens, sent it back as well as ordering a replacement.
Posted it by special delivery, item was recd by them next morning, they denied it ever arrived hence no refund.
Had to get guernsey trade and commerce, the post office and visa on the case
Soon sorted out.......
I will use them and have done since as the prices can be good, be aware that you should do a pricematch on everything you are interested in as at the mo. amazon can do a uk spec ixus 700 cheaper than 7day sell the import 500 model (same but different warranty and numbers)
