I can't believe we've had 10 years of these threads now!
2019 has been a mixed bag for me, a new camera opened up new photography opportunities but a new job meant less time for some of my favourite styles. Anyway, here's what I've been up to.
Pushing the possibilities of full frame at last.

Jupiter and the Milky Way by Mike Gardiner, on link.photo
Still light painting.

Big Wheel Power Pose by Mike Gardiner, on link.photo
Getting out to shoot the autumn.

The Barn by Mike Gardiner, on link.photo
Working with studio lights for the first time.

Moody Jordan by Mike Gardiner, on link.photo
My favourite photo of the year, in fact one of my favourites ever.

Some great shots there, as usual Mike and Mike!
I’ve tried to take a few more this year with some limited success. The monthly competitions have helped with some inspiration/motivation to get out there. I am also loving the 70-200 f2.8 IS I bought second hand from a forum member on Talk Photography in January - 3 of these photos were take with this lens. It also looks like I can't count and have put 6 up!
One from the ER Protests - April
The trip out to London was solely down to the April photo comp - News/Photojournalism, but whilst not good for the competition, I really liked this shot.
3O2A7390 by conradsphotos, on Flickr
Top of the Healey Pass in Ireland - May
Not the best photo, but good memories of a brilliant drive up a completely empty road, and given this is a car forum, I thought it rude not to include at least one car related photo.
R457_healey_pass by conradsphotos, on Flickr
Mrs C&C’s trainers at Bunowen Bay, Ireland - May
On our first trip to Ireland, I was amazed at some of the white sand (and deserted beaches).
3O2A8547 by conradsphotos, on Flickr
Camden Rocks - June
Not sure of the band name, but happy with the finale capture in low light.
3O2A9126 by conradsphotos, on Flickr
Fruitbat, London Zoo, July
One of the photos taken with a view to the July competition - Bokeh.
3O2A9618 by conradsphotos, on Flickr
Angerland at The Monarch, Camden - September
I think I included one of their photos last year, but I was really pleased with this one - very low light, and the lead singer (Jon) stared at me for maybe a second, so very little time to get the shot.

Only taken my SLR out the one time this year, which was at Le Mans, so 4 of these are taken on my Samsung S9 mobile - may have reduced the file size by too much on some of the images though, but hopefully they turn out okay....they look okay in my phone, haha!!
Porsche at Le Mans

Forrest Walk at Bennachie in Scotland

Fiat 500 on Florence side street

Another Timeline events do of an offshore powerboat race in the solent, this boat is over 40 years old iirc.
Dry Martini by Nigel Eite, on Flickr
This couple at a Shuttleworth night shoot look like they're waiting for John Mills to turn up.
Noir by Nigel Eite, on Flickr
and finally there has to be a macro, I've just bought a new flash so I'm hoping for more of the same next summer.

Amazing work folks - some great variety too which is always good to see
A couple of personal favorites which jump out
Malcolm F - ok it's towards the 'art' end but wow it's done so well

Nigel - love the atmosphere
Noir by Nigel Eite, on Flickr
Nessie's sunset - no idea how you got this
2.
Fleet pump track at sunset (1 of 1) by nessiemac1, on Flickr
Rob's astro with multiple Galaxies... blows my mind how far the light has traveled before hitting Rob's sensor... the foreground light almost instantly but the light from the furthest galaxy (Andromeda?) must have taken over 2 million years

Love that!
McDonnell Douglas F4 Phantom by Nigel Eite, on FlickrNo new aviation stuff for me this year, but 2019 has been one of my busiest. Been a very 'V8' kind of year too!

Hope everyone has a great 2020!
Stunning photos everyone, and still a constant source of inspiration. It's been a quiet year for me photography-wise, so not much variety in my shots but here goes...
