I've never used one of these 3D modelling packages. Does it take long to get used to ?

It doesn't take long to get up and running, but you can spend bloody hours messing about trying to make stuff look realistic (ish).

Some of the stuff I've seen is absolutely stunning... I'm pretty sure the people doing them never have any time to get outside and see the real world.

Talking of which... Off to walk pooch.
