Following on from the 'error between user and camera' comment  - I thought It might be a good idea for some of us to post some real sh!t photo's we've taken recently (rather than all the ones we think are a bit tasty).

Personally, I have hard disks full of the things... some of which look even worse than these - which I took last week.

Amongst the problems I note: Out of focus, duff framing, crap exposure, subject not in frame, horizons not level, complete disregard for how a camera lens works, subject not worth the shot in the first place... I think you get the drift.

Now I'm no expert (obviously), but I think these could well be close to 'nil point' if entered into a photographic competition.

Care to share any of yours folks? (I suggest no more than 2 each, or the internet will seize up)

That's a great shot Don - what on earth were you doing going round on all fours - saving to buy a taller tripod?

It's easy to get my dog to walk on water. Just try stopping him humping the leg of the Tesco delivery man.

Don. THE classic of it's kind.

Derek... take the strides with you when you leave

Do you remember? I'd just bought the remote release gadget for my D70. Testing, testing, 1-2-3. Oops!

Given teh general craptitude of my photography, it's been a bit of a struggle to find any really shoddy ones as tehy usually get deleted fairly swiftly. But here's two of the finest:

If this was a night stage, then not bad. It was in blazing june sunshine though.

Underexposed, me? After i left the camera in manual mode when i actually wanted bloodyhell-it's-a-stag mode.

I don't actually keep many of the really bad photos, but here is one I took yesterday. I was aiming for the red thing, but couldn't be bothered to get on the floor for the shot so I used my feet as a viewfinder and did a bit of guess work with the point and shoot and missed

Photoshop easily sorts those two out...

Just a simple use of the "levels" dialogue box gives
