Pixmantec / Raw Shooter Essential
Discussion
I notice, for anyone interested, that version 1.1.3 is now released. The details and download are here|http://www.pixmantec.com/products/rawshooter_essentials.html
I am becoming a bit of a fan of RSE. If you're not currently shooting RAW and want to know how RSE works (which takes a bit of headscratching in my experience, even if you RTFM!), there's a (first version) of a video about it here|http://pictureflow.fileburst.com/_tapestalk/_001-050530-RSE_QuickStart/RSE_V113_QuickStart_01_QT.html (Quicktime only :) )
I've been using RSE for four months now. Whether a combination of things I hadn't picked up or new features in 1.1.3 I learnt a few things!
There's no such thing as a free lunch, but theere is a free RAW converter: in the latest newsletter the developers are pledging that RSE will remain free at all times, while they will be working on developing a premium version alongside the essentials.
Lastly, it's not everyone's cup of Darjeeling, but I think this is great.......

Also found this useful article by Andy Rouse....
I wonder if that is the same Andy Rouse that was the touring car legend in the late 80's/early 90's!
Bit of a change of career
