Hello all,

Following orders from Swedish big chief Mr. Glantz I had to take photos of the event in his absence. Two galleries this year. One for the race, and one for other aspects of the event...

Race: http://www.mattwatkinson.com/galleries/lemans/therace/index.htm

Rest:

Matt, having seen some of the shots in the "Rest" section, I hope you will be using the same style/mix of models and cars when you take some shots of my motor!?!?!

Matt, I'm not hugely knowledgable about photography and all the arty stuff, but can honestly say that's the best photo of any of my cars that I've seen (sorry TD & Ed!).

We'll discuss the women!

Sorry about ignoring you, but if I was with the car I certainly had a huge hangover and was not being sociable to anybody, and if I wasn't in the car, I was p!ssed!!!

Edited to say that I can now see both pictures ...and both equally good!

lol. Lucky I saw you go past from the cafe then. I only noticed when you went past the traffic lights! Hopefully this has wet your appetite for the real deal...

The composition of some of these is (at least compared to most car racing pics) really unusual, and so much more fascinating for it. Some of these are superb!

Can't wait to see you in action for myself (soon I hope?)

Nice pics as always Matt, makes me wish I'd been in a proper frame of mind / state to have bagged proper shots.... next year! Next year!

Tony, no offence as I still haven't had the opportunity to take any pics of your motor yet! I can wait.... (I won't keep asking)

Im glad the management approves... I like that one too. It came out sharp as well. Im still impressed with what my old school 1d does with its 4 mega pixels:

Here is the fullsized one saved as a 50% jpeg (573kb)

Wow! You really are the most inovative and stylish car snapper on this forum, Matt! (IMHO) It's truly amazing the way you keep coming up with new angles on old subjects. 10/10.

Martin.

Nice work Matt.

I do like the images in the "Other" gallery, some very nicely captured details of the event.

Cheers
