Taken at Lulworth Cove in Dorset at 00:30 on Friday morning. Took about 25 with a 10 sec exposure - these were the only decentish ones. I have never, ever seen a storm like it.

Superb, especially the first pic.
Love Lulworth Cove. My dad even used to take me there a lot when i was a kid
Bit risky being outside taking those shots..?
Must also do a visit to north/east beaches as told they are worth a view

Superb! Second shot is fantastic.

We had a storm here a short while ago.... not a lot of lightning but plenty of sand.

Were you scared of getting dust on your sensor?

Funny you should say that... one or two shots were, hindered shall we say, by dust. This pic was taken 5 minutes later... there is a truck in there somewhere!

one of my mates lives in Egypt and described a storm exactly the same as that. They were in the middle of the desert on their bikes so started to race back to close their windows. Apparently they managed to race along in front of the storm and the air was completely still even at the speed they were driving at. Creepy!
