Nice. I wasn't sure about the pylons, then decided they added some contrast.

I saw a scene similar to that over Dedham Vale years ago, but didn't have a camera with me, and by the time I went back 10 minutes later, the light had gone...

How can you single one out!!

First one for me though... but all just stunning. It's a privilege to be able to see your work Steve.

I know that sounds totally gay and crawly-bum-lick but to someone like myself, who aspires to take good pictures, some of the quality shown on here is a real inspiration. So get off my case!

I'm totally with you Chim_knee. Would love to be able to take shots like that and to be able to see work of the standard that Steve so regularly produces is both a pleasure and an inspiration.

That's some dam fine work Steve.

Like the third and fourth ones the best. One and two not really my cup of tea.

That's part of what makes the difference - knowing when and where, and being daft enough (obviously I mean dedicated enough ) to actually get out of bed and get these beautiful shots.

Lovely photos, maestro

Blimey. Old threads never die!

I thought I'd be outta here well before I had the chance to take more pics that early in the morning... but it looks like another spring and hopefully another 'early morning mist fest' in Cumbria.

If any of you are up here at that time of year (and the weather is good), It's worth setting the clock EARLY, or staying up LATE - you'll have the whole place to yourself (unless I'm still here). Great feeling though.

In picture three:
It looks like a landslide in the past has covered the stone wall then grown over....or is it just me!
