could it be to do with it been a farm vehicle? I only mention that as it says it'll run on Red Diesel (which all diesels will do, but this suggests it can do legally).

Probably some kind of government support for th efilm industry allows it through that loophole rather than it being a farm vehicle. Still no MoT needed and red diesel makes it very appealing for those who don't want to give money to the treasury every time they drive !
