I know the EOS350D takes a NB-2LH but will it (or the grip) take the NB-2L?

Can't understand why the original Canon NB-2LH is so expensive but yet its only the same capacity.

If I were you I would buy a copy from ebay, about £10 and essentially the same thing.http://search.ebay.co.uk/NB-2LH_W0QQfkrZ1QQfromZR8QQsatitleZNB-2LH

I don't know about the NB-2LH specifically, but I have bout 4 copy BP-511s (for the 20D) from different ebay vendors and they are excellent, and they actually seem to last longer than the Canon ones.

At that price, you can't really go wrong...

Just be sure that if you send it in for warranty work that you put the Canon battery back in. Don't know about the UK but "use of batteries other than genuine Canon batteries renders the warranty void"...
