The filter thread got me thinking . It felt really strange so I'm posting this for your thoughts... screw-in or Cokin? I keep a UV filter on my 18-70 and a second filter can cause vignetting - but I don't want to constantly be swapping filters about in the field.

2nd filter causes vignetting? I should be so lucky, my circular polariser does this at 18mm on it's own!!

To be honest next time I really want a filter I'll go for a cokin type - that way it should fit all my lenses as well.

Need to buy yourself a nice Hoya low profile one (with no thread on the front) - it's fine on my 10mm...

Indeed, and you can PS out the vignetting for free! I wont be rushing out to spend money!
