Such a shame this one isn't clearer, I love those big proper prop engines.

Great to be able to shoot flying aircraft from above, always wanted to see the B1 in action. I haven't heard of this show before. Does it take place every year ?

It is a yearly show, this is the first one I've been to.

I hear that it is organised by the same people as RIAT at Fairford.

Yep, Eastbourne Airborne takes place every year over Thurs, Fri, St & Sun. I believe this was the first UK show to feature the Typhoon. Watching it do a 'square' loop was interesting! I was there this weekend and took a few snaps of it on Friday, not a long enough lens though. The B1 was an amazing beast, I liked the vapour 'clouds' around the engines. My snaps were taken from down by the pier so great views from underneath! Hope it didn't take you too long to get off Beachy Head in all the traffic, although it does look like a good vantage point.
