Going through my 35mm stash, I found my Tristar travel tripod but I've lost the quick release plate for it.

Anybody got any clues where I could find one?

The tripod was only a few quid when I was in Australia so it's not that vital but it is a great little tripod and it would be a shame to lose the use of it.

Don't know if it's going to help, but I recently bought a tripod off fleabay & the head is QR.

Let me know the measurements needed & I'll see if this one would fit...

It may be cheaper for you to get one of these tripods if it complements your existing one - It's a decent size (over 1.5m fully extended) & was only about £15 IIRC.

If you have metalworking facilities you could make a new plate out of aluminium or brass...?
