Stolen d50

Found this whilst registering my D50 with Nikon - luckily mine isn't one of them.

A number of D50's were stolen in transit in HK - Nikon are not offering any warrenty on the stolen ones - link is to list of those serial numbers affected.

So if you see any on fleabay or the such like it may be worth asking for the SN and checking it.

Is that reasonable? The goods may be stolen but they're still supposed to be fit for the purpose etc!
