I did mention www.pistonheads.com Nikon owners CLUD but they never printed that. Have had a few emails regarding the copies I have on ebay. I hasten to add that it was not my idea to ebay the pic.

It's not the winning that counts, it's the taking part - along with the chance of sharing the pic that makes you feel good that month.

I watched the Sky news paper review - where they usually finish with a 'and finally' type story - in the eager anticipation that perhaps it's made one of the nationals ... but nope.

Assuming of course that if it did, that they'd pick it.

I know that, but what I meant was although I submit pictures they are nowhere near as good as Simpo's or Get Carters. The majority of other submissions are much better also. The "Face of God" pic was a one off, and I am under no illusions that it was pure luck that enabled me to get this a once in a life time pic. Human nature predicts that if you happen to get a once in a lifetime, you take every opportunity presented to you to "promote" it. Who knows, I may make a few shillings from it or I may not. Every £ made is an extra £ towards my MB-100.

Sorted

"hovering at 200 feet" ?

They still work in feet in Peterborough? Still seems rather low. Wide angle lens?

I think the face, the hovering, the 200ft estimate, the puff of wind and the fact that the paper refers to itself as "ET" are all somewhat worrying.
