Hi Ross,
I was using my broken Canon 28-135 IS, so had to do it all in manual focus I'm thinking of getting the 24-105L f4 as a replacement.

BTW, what are prices like in Gib for camera gear, I know you go there yourself sometimes, and is there a particular shop you use ?

Yes, I use a 580EX.
Gib is about the same as the net pricewise, maybe a bit more expensive, but I don't have to wait, and have somewhere to take it back to if it goes wrong. HTH.
