E-mount lenses on Nikon Z cameras

I have a Z6 II and currently use my range of (mostly Sigma) F-mount lenses with the FTZ adapter. Wondering if this solution would give any real advantage over that? Clearly it's far slimmer than the FTZ and likely a lot lighter too but since Sigma don't (yet) do Z-mount versions of the F-mount lenses I have now I'm wondering if this is worth pursuing.
