Having blagged my first media pass pretty much completely by accident, I did try to do something about getting the photos published or similar, but failed miserably. So here they are for you lot to dissect. :)

I really enjoyed the fact that I was able to concentrate more on getting the photos than trying to find a spot where I could get past the catch fencing without being shouted at by the marshals (a complete impossibility I found on the National circuit when I went for the 750MC at Silverstone).

Any hints/tips/insults about the photos and/or how to go about getting publications interested and how I need to improve the images to get the required level would be most appreciated.

Some great pics there.

I guess Matt's the one to say how to get publications interested!

The only thing I can add, is that I've had three lots of automotive photos published, and each time it was because the publication had found (or been told) about my website. Perhaps you sould invest in another web address specifically for motorsportt photograhy? (even if it just points to the same webspace) - then put some stickers on your car and make sure it works its way up the google ladder (It took me years to get 3 of the top 5 spots on google (UK) for Steve Carter! (But I've just been knocked off top spot for Sad Git - ba5tard)

BTW If I were you, I'd also consider sending a link to that first (excellent) pic to www.circuitdriver.co.uk/

Steve

Thanks Steve. Setting up a proper website for this stuff is something I've been meaning to do for a while, but just haven't got around to it. Maybe this will give me the impetus I need. I spend all day building the sodding things, building them for myself doesn't fill me with delight.
