Ricoh GX8 - anygood?

I'm after a take anywhere compact digital, small enough to fit in your pocket or glovebox but with a widish angle lens as standard.
Stumbled across the GX8, 8 megapixel, 28mm W/A for £250.
Anyone got or used one?

I nearly got one instead of my Fuji E550, having the equivalent of a 28mm would have been handy but I found some sample images from the Ricoh on the web and saw that they are decidedly noisy so went elsewhere.
