software for batch picture processing?

Anybody know of such a program? Preferably freeware, only really want it to resize photos for web pages.

You could also try IrfanView www.irfanview.com

Has a comprehensive batch conversion, resize, rotate etc function.

If you have Photoshop it is worth learning how to create batch actions, they are very useful for lots of things.

MS do a neat PowerToy that sits in your right click menu for that - Image Resizer;

Just select your pics, right click, Resize ......

That's what I use, couldn't be more simple.
