it'll become more fascinating as time progress, the parents pass on and their children keep up the tradition. In 100 years or so when you have several generations passing through it will make for a fantastic family record.

It is a great idea - I remember a guy did the same thing, but every day for a whole year.

If you did it carefully you could make an avi file out of it and watch your hair grow!
