The first F22 Raptor on delivery to Langley Air Force Base.

I think I saw these recently in an aviation magazine. I beleive the Godfather of aviation photography took these, John Dibbs ?

Correct me if I'm wrong.

What a great looking plane...menacing. Looking at the shape of the hull I reckon it'd make a great speedboat

Why is it you can look at some machines and they just look right? You know it'll do what it says it will, but gracefully and slightly better than expected.

Spitfire
E-Type
Tag watch
Appolo rocket
Hassleblad
Concorde

That F22 has the same look.

Wow!

I absolutely love the Raptor!

One plane to rule them all
One plane to find them
One plane to bring them all
And in the darkness whoop 'em

A technological tour-de-force.

Thanks for sharing.

Is it me or do those planes look computer generated, it's just the way the light reflects of the front in picture 6 and the contrast between the plane and the landscape, it looks very much like x plane

Don't know what the building is now but I suspect that it was a Dutch fort from the days when they ran parts of the North America.

And then we swapped them for the Spice Islands...?
