Bridge camera from 2012. Equiv of a 720mm lens with up 1400 using its software.

I found it while rummaging around. It’s the camera I used to take lots of pictures of my then baby daughter in 2013. It documented the early years of her life. Now I’m waiting patiently for battery to charge.

Curious to see how the quality holds up to my iPhone 13, which has slowly become more convenient and no doubt does what most people want. I hate that I now use a phone for everything. Hoping I will be able to take some pics I’ll be still happy with.

I remember my parents bought the camera for me. Holding it feels like seeing an old friend again. Can’t wait to check out how it does smile

Maybe because they're cheap? - like the weapon of choice of arts students in the old days was a Zenit.

Most of dem yute have mobile phones with cameras.

Being father to one such achingly cool individual, I am told it is to do with image quality and a certain "something" that phones don't give you.

They also like Polaroid Instants. But they are expensive.
