Snapseed for Windows

I rather enjoy the Snapseed app for my Samsung phone and would like it for my Samsung laptop. I read that it's only available through an emulator like BlueStacks. I've never heard of it, but before I download it and completely balls up my computer, has anyone done this or similar? i.e what's the catch etc?

I'm after a simple editing app that offers preset effects as they do for phones, rather than me having to know about 'levels' etc. and the sort of knowledge required to use Photoshop.
