Where to take car photographs?
Discussion
Want to go out and take some pics of my new car (190E cossie :)) but what sort of places look good to photograph a car?
I've tried on a flat grass field, it looks rubbish and boring, but can't think of anywhere more exciting than an underground car park.
What about getting into some industrial zones, near glass office blocks.. that sort of thing?
obviously I'll post back when I'm done....
I'm in Gloucestershire/Cheltenham if anyone has any local ideas.......

I tend not to think too much about it, which is why I think my hit rate on automotive photography is not that great.

depends on the picture your trying to get.
you don't want distractions like telegraph poles or pylons sticking out the top of the car and you don't want nasty reflections either. if your taking the picture with the car up against a background you want it plain/bland with no distractions and you want the colour to complement and contrast the car. there are so many different ways to take a pic of a car it is difficult to explain it all.
