Me too, that's why it's at the top. My friends were getting very bored with me by the end of that evening

Shady - only two images are really relevant to the compo, and they're not really the strongest, so i'll decline from entering, but thanks for the thought

Hmmm, I think you've just cost me lots of money. I've been meaning to go back since I was there for work a few years ago and think I might have to actually get around and do it next year. Great photos.

It's a lovely place, though it is falling down around it's ears in places!!

Funny, I was just thinking in how much better a state of repair it is in since I first went there in the early 70's. The Alfama area just below St. George's Castle was very run down then, seems to have been transformed in the same way as London's Docklands now.
