Held a week early as I won't be in town, Charlie had a great second birthday party. Lots of dog friends and squeeky toys. Here he is after a long day....

Some great shots there m8.

I love the one of Charlie watching the boat

BUT, you've just upset the household with your chronicles!

We'd just about decided on our pooch breed of choice, that was going to be a minuture schnauzer, but Charlie's exploits have thrown a curve ball.

The wife has commanded that "We...MUST" find out more about the breed.

Charlie says thank you.

SO many beardies Phugoid!

Nighthawk - Bearded Collies are very rewarding but as is said by every owner I've met they are COMPLETELY bonkers and a real handful. They get bored very easily, need loads of walks and really need to feel that they are 'working'. (Just thought I'd point that out in case that's not what you're after). They are great with kids mind, and there is never a day when they don't make you laugh out loud.

I can recommend some books and breeders (including the beardie rescue) if you need.

As for Charlie, well he's all fluff and nonsense - and has taken to barking at anyone in a hat. What's that all about?.

Well he's probably trying to tell you something. What sort of hat does he wear?

He barks at anyone in any hat. He barks at tractors, quad biikes, workers in flurecent jackets and brightly coloursed motorcycles. Actually he's just a prat and wants to chime in and warn us whenever he sees something unusual. Like I care the motorbike is red!

BTW is your dog a 57 or a breed? Great looking mut!

I think I must have been a bit too tangential. It was attempted humour based upon the barker wearing the hat rather than the barkee. (I must remember to use smileys)

My hound is firmly of the 57 (at least) varieties variety. Ex-Blue Cross rescue job so a bit high maintenance but incredibly grateful and affectionate.
