cant ind the answer to this, and too laxzy to look properly ;)

in the levels dialog box, you can now drag a selection over the actual histogram, but it doesn't seem to do anything. what is it for, it looks cool?

I'd guess it's just part of the "XP" GUI interface that they are using?
