I am thinking of buying a cheap(ish) camcorder. I need it to be able to:

- Transfer films to my PC for editing
- Use a bulletcam
- Be quite small

Not much I need it to do really! I want it for trackdays, holidays, snuff movies (;)) etc

Jessops have a couple of cameras (sony and panasonic) for £230 and £270 respectively - would these do the trick?

Any tips?

Thanks
Max

yep... make sure it has AV in (the yellow hole) or a bullet won't work.

I have aPanasonic NV-DS65 that has DV In/Out. Not sure if a ullet cam would work on it but they are quite small and not very expensive nowadays. If you want to have a lok at it then drop me a line

You need AV in (not DV in) for a bullet.

Thanks guys! It seems that AV in is a bit of a rarety on the lower end cameras - but I shall continue the hunt!

Totally random purchase but I just bought one of these: www.canon.co.uk/for_home/product_finder/camcorders/digital/mvx250i/index.asp

It seems to get good reviews (and Nikon don't do a camcorder )

As long as you have editing software for MPEG4, you could always go with the Samsung that seems tailor made for track days:

Bullet cam included.
