I suspect we're scattered all across the land, but is there an appetite for any local(ish) meet ups for photo walks or shooting together at various events?

I generally shoot alone, but usually find some benefit when shooting with others (picking up tips or spotting compositions that I may not have considered). Wondered if there's any mileage in sharing general locations and then people can see if there's interest to meet up (either locally or for a coordinated effort in a larger city).

I'm in and around Gloucestershire & Wiltshire, but happy to travel to Birmingham / London / Cardiff if a street session is of interest.

I see a lot of photographers talk about the value of their communities (which usually just means the amount of followers on their social platforms), but I'm talking about meeting up and sharing stories, experience and tips.

Might fall flat, but thought it's worth exploring.

Have you thought about joining a local Photography Club? A neighbour of mine is part of one and they do exactly what you have described, plus have lots of fancy gear members can get to use.

Your local U3A group will probably have a photography group.

I'm in one, just thought it might be something for the community here.

Not to worry
