I just got back from the Highlands - and haven't looked at the weather forecast, but If you can, get your bums up there if this high pressure lasts, as it's FAB at present. Empty, gold and blue. (What's the betting the high disapears tomorrow now I've said that?)

BTW - Colours not quite happened yet in Cumbria yet.

Absolutely fantastic picture GC. You are justifiably proud of it I hope.

Thanks for the kind words people... the place just begs to have it's picture taken, and is especially keen on a perfectly still, warm, sunny October day (not many of them around!).

Doc - Second lorry didn't get stuck like the first did! (I still aged 5 years in one day).

Truly stunning Steve, sadly empty, golds and blues haven't arrived yet in Ealing West London!

Pah, I bet it's all mocked up in a studio. A mirror, some household objects with brown cloth draped over them and a sky stuck on in PS.

Now listen here Mr Get, I'll have you know I'm flying all the way to NZ to try to get some landscapes like yours!

Darn it Mr. Carter, I trust that is a truck load of picture mount card for a predicted sales boom in highland landscapes. Or is it just a new supply of memory cards?

As for the latest posted shot - what can one say that has not already been said?
