Struggling to use a mobile for video

Due to back problems I have been using a mobile phone for videos I intend to post on YouTube. I use a cage and two delightfully light side handles, but I have problems, one of which is my knees refusing to bend much.
My main video camera, Panasonic, has an articulated screen; great for low shots and while being carried with a handle, I can see what I’m shooting. Not so with a mobile. Guessing is not within my skills level.
I’ve gone on Amazon and done some searches for a small monitor, wired or Bluetooth, I can fix in a cold shoe to show me what’s on my screen, but the options are confusing. Has anyone experience of using such a monitor? 4” x 3” would be ample. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Or, perhaps, advise me on how to use an old mobile?
Current mobile, Google Pixel 8 Pro which I'm pleased with.
